Tournament Rules
- Update

Here are some of the basic tournament rules that CMD would like to share with you.

(i) Card Sleeve
- All first layer card sleeve must be opaque.
- All second layer card sleeve must not be opaque.
- Fighters should not be able to see the back of their cards.
- Clear card sleeves are not allowed as first layer of your card.
- There should not be any marking on your first layer or second layer card sleeve.
- All cards in all Cardfight!! Vanguard tournament must be double sleeved.
- Triple layer and above of card sleeves are not allowed.
- As your First Vanguard (FV) is part of your 50 card deck, the FV must be the same card sleeve as the rest of the 49 cards. Hence, no hard case or another card sleeve is allowed for your FV, regardless whether the FV goes back to the deck or not.

(ii) Players' Etiquette
- Fighters should never place their hands under the table as it can be seen as an attempt to cheat. Fighters doing so can be disqualified by the Judges.
- When handling of your opponent's cards, fighters should be gentle and should not damage the other party's card, fighters found doing so will be disqualified by the Judges.
- Declare your actions clearly and do not skip steps.
- Fighters is not allowed to flip 2 cards at the same time for Twin Drive!!. Any fighters found doing so will have to shuffle the second card back to deck and recheck the trigger. Fighters who were caught doing this more than once will be disqualified by the Judges.
- Fighters are not allowed to changes the cards in their deck or change their decks in between matches or game. Any fighters caught doing so will be disqualified straight by the Judges.
